Job summary

BTT Richards Bay is seeking a Millwright to support the Maintenance Department on-site in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on responding to breakdowns of electrical and mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, starters and lighting, to keep the site operational.

You will also be responsible for maintaining registers and ensuring all legal documentation is up to date, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy required.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend to breakdowns on electrical and mechanical devices (pumps, motors, starters, lighting).
• Ensure site maintenance keeps equipment in full working order.
• Keep registers and relevant legal documentation up to date.
