Job summary

A leading HR services provider in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Millwright to ensure optimal functioning of mechanical equipment within the Fixed Plant. Candidates should have at least 8 years in maintenance, coupled with NTS 4 or T2 certification. Responsibilities include fault finding, conducting scheduled maintenance, and leading a team. Must possess a valid Code 08 driver's license and own transport. This role requires shift work and readiness to be on standby.

Responsibilities

Job description

Be able to fault find and maintain mechanical equipment in the Fixed Plant in order to reduce downtime. To ensure that equipment is in sound condition to enable Production to work according to plan.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

2. Millwright experience: more mechanical related experience.

3. Higher level education: NTS 4 or T2

Practical work experience:

Minimum of 8 Years Good knowledge of motors and gearboxes. Good knowledge of welding and gas cutting. Able to work on a lathe machine. Achieve daily targets. Understand company quality standards Follow Company safety standards

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Be a Team leader /Supervisor.
• Knowledge of different metals /steel.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Do daily maintenance on machines.
• Planned maintenance schedules.
• Have a Code 08 Drives license, with own transport.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be able to start work at 06h00 (Day shift).
• Willing to be on standby for day shift, night shift and/or weekends.
