Job description

We are looking for a Project Manager to join PYGIO's founding team.

PYGIO develops software and data analytics products and services that transform enterprises across South Africa, US, and UAE. We collaborate with leading banks, insurers, telcos, and manufacturing companies, among others.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, including resource and budget allocation.
  • Oversee daily project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including monitoring, management, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate project interdependencies and ensure financial milestones are achieved.
  • Enforce policies and procedures aligned with client requirements.
  • Allocate, manage, and utilize resources across multiple projects.
  • Manage project budgets, including internal and external costs.
  • Implement change and issue management processes.
  • Present progress reports, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT projects.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skills in staffing, planning, and people management.
  • Knowledge of project constraints such as budget, scope, schedule, and skills.
  • Proficiency in project methodologies like Waterfall and Agile.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with various individuals involved in projects.
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.
  • Technical understanding of the development lifecycle.
  • Experience in business analysis.
