Minimum Requirements
- Qualification(s): Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) plus post-graduate qualification in Occupational Medicine NQF8 with 480 credits
- Professional Registration: Professional Registration Body – Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- Related Minimum Experience: 7 years of Occupational health and primary health care and managerial experience

- Good understanding of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
- Advance knowledge of systems, applications and products (SAP) environmental, health and safety (EHS)
- Healthy lifestyle management including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/ acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and tuberculosis (TB) in the workplace
- Management of sickness, absenteeism and medically incapacitated employees
- Management of wellness service provider contracts, including eligibility requirements, performance, standards, budget, imitations, scope of service and strength and weakness of the service provider
