A dynamic media company is seeking a Graphic Designer to create visually impactful design materials for retail environments. You will manage design projects from concept to execution, collaborate with teams, and stay updated on industry trends. This role requires a strong attention to detail and experience in retail design, along with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Mission for the RoleTo conceptualize and deliver high-quality, brand-aligned visual content—especially for retail environments—that enhances customer engagement and supports marketing and sales objectives.Key Outcomes (First 6–12 Months)Deliver 95% of Design Projects On Time and On BriefComplete at least 10–15 design projects per month from concept to final artwork with minimal revisions.Maintain consistent brand application across all design outputs.Produce Retail-Specific Design Materials that Drive EngagementDesign and deliver at least 3–5 in-store retail displays monthly (e.g.
FSUs, PSUs, wobblers) with measurable visual impact, as rated by internal sales team or client feedback.Ensure Print Production AccuracyPrepare and submit % print-ready files with zero technical errors, confirmed by supplier / printer feedback.Manage all supplier relationships for production with no missed deadlines.Contribute to Campaign Concepts and BrainstormsActively participate in at least 1-2 creative brainstorming sessions per month, bringing 1–2 viable ideas per session that align with campaign objectives.Support Digital and Marketing Design NeedsCreate and deliver emailers or presentations if and when needed.Improve Studio Workflow & CollaborationMaintain a project tracking system to ensure visibility and clarity on all deadlines, with weekly / biweekly check-ins with the sales and studio teams.Demonstrate Initiative and Continuous LearningIdentify and apply at least 2 new industry trends, tools, or techniques that enhance design output.Achieve Positive Performance Feedback from Sales teamScore at least 80% satisfaction rate in quarterly feedback reviews from sales, marketing, and studio leadspetenciesCreative Problem Solving – Generates innovative, practical solutions under tight deadlines.Visual Storytelling – Translates briefs and strategic messages into compelling, brand-aligned designs.Attention to Detail – Delivers pixel-perfect artwork; ensures alignment, color accuracy, and technical precision.Time Management – Balances multiple design projects efficiently; meets deadlines consistently.Collaboration – Communicates clearly with cross-functional teams; incorporates feedback constructively.Retail Design Expertise – Deep understanding of in-store marketing psychology and shopper behavior.Technical Proficiency – Advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite and preparation of print-ready files.Cultural FitProactive and Accountable – Takes ownership of deliverables and outcomes; acts without being prompted.Adaptable and Open-Minded – Thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment; adjusts to shifting priorities.Client-First Mindset – Designs with the end-user and business impact in mind.Team-Oriented – Shares knowledge, supports peers, and contributes to a positive creative culture.Driven by Excellence – Holds high standards and a strong personal drive to produce outstanding work.Trustworthy and Responsible – Dependable in logistics (own transport, punctuality) and remote working autonomy.Requirements & SkillsRelevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.Proven experience as a Graphic Designer for 3-5 years, preferably in a mid-weight role.Essential : Demonstrable experience in designing for retail environments, including specific work with hotspots, FSUs, PSUs, and other POP / POS materials.
