Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Intermediate PHP Developer with a focus on payment systems to join our Durban team. You will develop, maintain, and optimize PHP applications, integrating gateway payments and ensuring secure transactions.

You should have 3–5 years of PHP experience, familiarity with Laravel, Symfony, or Zend, and a solid understanding of PCI-DSS security standards. Collaboration and problem-solving are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a PHP Developer, with a focus on payment systems.
• Proficiency in PHP and frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.
• Experience with payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Square) and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
• Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as web services.
• Proficiency in database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
