Mid-Level Buyer, EPC Project. Location: Johannesburg

Cox Energy centers its activity on engineering, construction and maintenance of electricity generation plants, hydraulic and environmental infrastructures, as well as electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation infrastructures for the energy, industry, transportation, and service sectors.

Cox Energy is seeking an Experienced Mid-Level Buyer, whowill be responsible for managing and executing procurement activities for assigned scopes within large-scale EPC projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires a strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle within the EPC industry, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in SAP.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Buyer within the EPC industry.
• Solid understanding of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent negotiation, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant local and international procurement regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
