Job description

Over the last decade, Webrepublic has grown from an ambitious startup into Switzerland’s leading digital marketing agency. Its sports and entertainment spin-off was relaunched as PACE in early 2025, and works with some of the world’s most prominent sports and entertainment organisations.

For that business, we are looking for a full-time, multi-faceted Art Director. With key clients such as FIFA and UEFA, among others, we are looking for a creative all-rounder who is well-versed in various design disciplines across B2B and B2C mediums and wants to combine that with a deep passion for sports, particularly soccer.

The role is suited to an Art Director who enjoys getting their hands dirty on projects, but also has the vision to guide the PACE brand and its positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • guardianship of the PACE brand and its core design principles and qualities, and responsibility for its development as our agency evolves,
  • collaborate closely with colleagues across the areas of art, copy, consulting, strategy, and editorial,
  • drive holistic brand design, and ownership of quality control across all brand touchpoints,
  • oversee - and often create - client presentations, ensuring close design collaboration with the PACE Commercial team to deliver premium pitches for new business projects,
  • guide deck and presentation material for existing clients on an ad-hoc basis,
  • responsibility for out-of-scope creative campaigns, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to move a project from brief status to delivery,
  • design of infographics and illustrations (static and animated) for PACE’s own brand assets across a variety of touchpoints, such as social media or networking events.


Qualifications And Skills

As an ideal candidate, you must have the following:

  • at least 4-5 years of relevant work experience in brand design and storytelling,
  • a proven track record in B2B, new business and / or commercial brand design and how to execute it at a premium level,
  • a deep understanding of the sports industry gained via both professional experience and personal interest, ideally with football (soccer) as a key sport,
  • a native proficiency of the various design-relevant tools within the Adobe creative suite,
  • an eye-catching portfolio with brand design that showcases the variety of your skills and experience,
  • more than a passing understanding of the type of content that sits and succeeds across social media platforms, particularly in sports,
  • speak English fluently and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
