Job summary

Altron Digital Business in South Africa seeks an experienced Microsoft Azure Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise Azure environments delivered as managed services. This hands-on senior role combines Azure architecture, operational excellence, security and governance to drive improvements in performance and resilience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in infrastructure and/or cloud engineering.
• 5+ years’ hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Proven experience in an MSP or enterprise managed services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Azure security, networking and governance.
• National Diploma or Degree preferred.

• Lead Azure managed services operations across multiple enterprise clients.

• Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents and platform issues.

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Azure Architect to provide technical leadership across enterprise Azure environments delivered as managed services.

This is a hands-on senior role combining Azure architecture, operational excellence, security and governance. You will work across multiple enterprise clients, help resolve complex platform challenges and drive ongoing improvements in the performance, resilience and optimisation of Azure environments.

What you will be responsible for:

Required certifications

You will need:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent

And at least one of:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
