Job description

Job title: MiBusiness Insurance Specialist: Gauteng North

Job Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg

What will you do?
  1. Responsible for achieving sales volumes, distribution, pricing, stock pressure and forwarding display objectives in accordance with expected standards for a particular district.
  2. Manages the activities of the sales force in a division.

Qualification And Experience
  1. NQF4/Matric/Standard 10
  2. FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
  3. Financial Services Board Regulatory Exams (RE5) completed
  4. NQF 5 & NQF 6 advantageous
  5. Must have your own motor vehicle
  6. Valid code B driver’s license

Minimum Experience
  1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry
  2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in face-to-face business

Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
  1. To deliver on business strategies and key deliverables
  2. Recruitment of own team
  3. To ensure that the team adheres to compliance regulations
  4. To coach and mentor all team members to ensure high quality standards
  5. To analyse performance data and present findings to senior management
  6. Ensure team enablement to perform at optimal level
  7. Assist your team to build their own insurance portfolios
  8. Communicate effectively with your team, management and internal stakeholders
  9. Provide ongoing system and product support
