The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating MFS service reconciliations and invoicing across multiple territories. This role requires a deep understanding of financial services regulations and the ability to ensure compliance across all serviced territories. The Financial Operations Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records and support the financial health of the MFS department.

What you will do
  • Service Reconciliations : Coordinate and manage the reconciliation of MFS services for company's territories and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Invoicing : Oversee the invoicing process for MFS services, ensuring timely and accurate billing to clients and partners.
  • Compliance : Ensure compliance with financial services regulations across all serviced territories. Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the company.
  • Coordination : Work closely with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) and external stakeholders (clients, partners, auditors) to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Financial Reporting : Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to the MFS Finance Director and other senior management.
  • Risk Management : Identify and mitigate financial risks related to MFS operations. Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for the MFS department. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
  • Liquidity Monitoring : Monitor liquidity levels to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations.
  • Documentation : Maintain thorough and organized documentation of all financial activities and decisions related to MFS services.
What you will bring
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the financial services industry. Experience with mobile financial services is a plus.
  • Skills : Strong knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
