Job Description

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • Valid Driver’s license and Own Car
  • FAIS Compliance
  • Clear criminal and credit check
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience (preferably in sales)
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Presentation skills an added advantage

Provides advice on a specific range of products to a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Provide quality service to customers while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention. Responsibilities may include processing cases, dealing with complex queries, and investigating and resolving customer problems.
  2. Solutions Analysis: Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions, which could be technical or professional in nature.
  3. Receiving Visitors: Receive visitors and assist with various requests for information, referring more complex matters to colleagues.
  4. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data: Schedule follow-up actions and enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer to enable effective customer retention and business development activities.
  5. Customer Needs Clarification: Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor presentations to decision-makers and influencers within the customer organization; ask relevant questions to gather information and evaluate customer interest.
  6. Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting: Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts, building relationships with decision-makers and influencers to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.
  7. Operational Compliance: Understand and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes. Obtain supervisor approval for any exceptions.
  8. Business Development: Monitor and assess sales and market data to identify areas for business growth within a specific geographic region.
  9. Sales Opportunities Creation: Develop a personal network within the business sector, represent the organization at sector events, and enhance visibility and reputation.
  10. Data Exploration: Conduct research and analyze relevant data to identify key themes and trends using primary sources and business intelligence tools.
  11. Network of Influence: Participate in and contribute to networks inside and outside the company to leverage the value of networking.
