Job Description

This role provides advice on a specific range of products to a designated market segment and is individually accountable for achieving results through personal efforts.

The position is classified as a FAIS position within Category B, requiring compliance with all FAIS standards, including the Fit and Proper criteria of Honesty and Integrity (e.g., no offences related to fraud, dishonesty, or misconduct) as well as competence and relevant qualifications.

• Provides advice aligned with the customer value proposition and compliance framework.
• Develops, tracks, and reviews business plans to meet individual performance targets.
• Works within specific allocated markets.
• Works with a defined range of products.
• Prospecting activities are limited.
• Receives a base salary plus bonuses; there is no commission.

Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Driver’s license and own car.
• FAIS Compliance (NQF Level 5 FSCA Approved Qualification).
• Clear criminal and credit checks.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience, preferably in sales.
• Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Presentation skills are an advantage.

Preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit.
