Job Description
- Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Driver’s license and Own Car
- FAIS Compliance
- Clear criminal and credit check
- Minimum of 3 years working experience (preferably in sales)
- Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Presentation skills an added advantage
The role involves providing advice on a specific range of products to an allocated market, with accountability for achieving results through individual efforts.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide quality service, identify opportunities for new business or support retention, process cases, handle complex queries, and resolve customer problems.
- Solutions Analysis: Analyze problems to find the best solutions, technical or professional in nature.
- Receiving Visitors: Welcome visitors and assist with information requests, referring complex matters to colleagues.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Data: Schedule follow-ups, enter information into CRM to enable effective customer retention and business development.
- Customer Needs Clarification: Set objectives, tailor presentations, ask relevant questions to evaluate customer interest, and identify areas for further information.
- Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting: Develop plans to build relationships with decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
- Operational Compliance: Understand and adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes; obtain authorization for exceptions.
- Business Development: Monitor sales and market data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Sales Opportunities Creation: Build a network within the business sector, represent the organization at events, gather market intelligence, and enhance visibility.
- Data Exploration: Conduct research and analyze data using primary sources and business intelligence tools.
- Network of Influence: Participate in and contribute to a network of contacts and ideas inside and outside the organization.
