Qualifications

You will form part of RMM within the Mass Foundation Cluster, which is one of the largest customer-facing business segments in Old Mutual. Role Overview

This role provides input into BU and Segment People Plans with a focus on developing and implementing tactical HR people plans to drive organizational effectiveness. It partners with Senior Management teams and is responsible for implementing HR plans and advisory services. The role is individually accountable for achieving results over periods of 3 months to 1 year and may manage a small team of HR professionals within a larger team.

  • Provides input into BU or Segment People plan.
  • Develops and implements tactical and operational people plans in response to business and people challenges.
  • Partners with Senior Management teams to advise on people challenges and improve team performance.
  • Uses HR Analytics and trends to advise on future people priorities.
  • Ensures the efficient implementation of the HR Calendar.
  • Develops and implements organizational development interventions to address short-term business needs.
  • Advises on employee engagement and building a high-performance culture aligned with the segment plan.
  • Implements Segment Talent and Leadership plans.
  • Advises on responding to change effectively.
  • Ensures adherence to HR controls and implements new controls as needed.
  • Contributes to HR synergies across OMEM.
  • May manage a small team of HR professionals.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner.
  • A postgraduate degree is advantageous.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
  • Strong influence and relationship-building skills with business leaders.
  • Solid employee relations experience.
