About the Role

This role is central to improving recovery rates, reducing operating costs, and ensuring the efficient processing of mineral concentrates. You will analyze plant data, conduct pilot tests, and implement improvements across various metallurgical processes, including comminution, flotation, and leaching. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze metallurgical plant data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Conduct laboratory and pilot plant test work to evaluate new process parameters and technologies.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize mineral recovery, reagent consumption, and product quality.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support to plant operations teams.
• Collaborate with R&D and engineering departments on process design and upgrades.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and site personnel.

Requirements

• Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in metallurgical processing, with a focus on base metals or precious metals .
• Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, including comminution, flotation, leaching, and refining.
