You will lead lab and pilot-scale tests, analyze performance data, and work with R&D on new technologies while mentoring junior staff in a demanding North West mining environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 6 years of base metals mineral processing experience with flotation.
• Proven ability to optimize metallurgical circuits and troubleshoot.
• Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and optimize metallurgical processes, including crushing, grinding, flotation, and dewatering.
• Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale test work to evaluate new process parameters and reagents.
• Analyze plant performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical support to plant personnel.
• Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure consistent product quality and maximize metal recovery.
• Prepare detailed metallurgical reports, including process simulations, mass balance calculations, and economic assessments.

• Ensure all metallurgical operations comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations in North West.

• Registered professional engineer status (Pr.Eng) or equivalent is an advantage.
