Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor KPIs of operational equipment and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to maximize recovery.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize metallurgical processes for mineral concentration and extraction.


• Conduct pilot plant studies and laboratory test work to evaluate process performance and new technologies.


• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of operational equipment and processes, identifying areas for improvement.


• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize recovery.


• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.


• Prepare technical reports, process flow diagrams, and operational manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.


• A minimum of 7 years of experience in metallurgical process design, operation, and optimization within the mining industry.


• Strong knowledge of flotation, leaching, gravity separation, and other relevant metallurgical processes.


• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., METSIM, HSC Chemistry).


• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).


• Excellent analytical and problem-solv ing skills with a hands-on approach.
