Job summary

EdUpStairs in Bloemfontein is seeking a diligent messenger/driver to support daily mail and document handling. You will sort, deliver and manage correspondence, and assist in registry duties.

The role requires a Grade 10/NQF3, strong reading and writing skills, a valid driver’s licence, and up to 12 months of relevant experience. You will operate light to mid-size vehicles and maintain vehicle logs, contributing to efficient office operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Render messenger services and manage registry correspondence.
• Collect, distribute and circulate mail, parcels, files and documents.
• Sort mail, files, documents and parcels.
• Ensure items to collect are sealed and addressed.
• Collect mail, files, documents and parcels from addressee.
• Deliver mail, files, documents and parcels to recipients/addresses.
• Drive light to mid-size vehicles to transport passengers and deliver items.
• Perform routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and report defects timely.
• Complete all required records and vehicle logs for the vehicle and goods handled.

• Deliver mail, files, documents and parcels to addresses.
• To render driver services.
• Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver other items (mail and documents).
• Do routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and report defects timely.
• Complete all the required and prescribed records and log books with regard to the vehicle and the goods handled.
