Job summary

The Building Company in Malelane is hiring a Stock Controller/Merchandiser to manage stock placement, display and customer service. You will ensure racks and gondolas are neat, up-to-date and well merchandised to drive sales and profit.

Responsibilities include stock takes, promotional stock handling and reporting on depletion or damaged stock, with a focus on maintaining merchandising standards and contributing to the BUCO department targets.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• 1 year shelf packing/merchandising experience.
• Knowledge of general building material environment is essential.
• Proven success in personal selling and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to manage and coordinate regular stock takes.
• Excellent customer interaction skills.
