Job description

Our client, in the Fashion industry, is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team, based in Durban.

Minimum Requirements : -

• Minimum 5 years' applicable experience within Fashion industry

Duties to include : -

• Must be able to source New Fabrics
• Brief receipt
• Costings for the clients
• Brief load onto a schedule / change into a job
• Obtain artwork / colours from the Buyer
• Give the mill approval to go ahead with bulk and get confirmed shipment date
• Check the bulk sampling when it arrives and check weight / fabric base – matches the approval
• Check fits and seals before they leave
• Offer extra units to the customers
• Rating adjustments
• Keep schedule updated with area responsible for
