The Role

This role involves leading stock allocation and inventory optimisation to maximise sales, gross profit, and reduce dilution.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Owning the execution of merchandise strategy and seasonal plans across all channels.
  • Leading with a customer mindset and ensuring optimal stock allocation.
  • Monitoring results and taking actions to drive sales and protect profitability.
  • Managing SKU lifecycle to optimise inventory and free up Open to Buy (OTB).
  • Providing volume forecasting and distribution centre projections.
  • Partnering with the distribution centre to maintain stock availability and flow.
  • Conducting site, store, and DC visits to validate stock levels and identify opportunities.
  • Presenting trade insights, data trends, and recommendations for product investment.
  • Aligning merchandise strategy and VM execution during brand milestones.
  • Collaborating with VM and retail teams to execute plans effectively.
  • Inspiring and developing team members through the people lifecycle and performance frameworks.
  • Leading the COG way and building an engaged team of brand ambassadors.
