Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Allocate stock based on scientific and demographic criteria.

  • Identify stock for markdowns and communicate to stores.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Matric
  2. Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce
  3. 3-5 years industry related experience
  4. Computer literate.
  5. Proficient in Excel and Dolfin.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Allocation of Stock
  1. To allocate stock according to scientific and demographic criteria.
  2. Ensuring optimal allocations based on units received and type of product to avoid over and under stocks in stores.
Replenishment of Stock
  1. To replenish stock according to store sales.
  2. To ensure stores do not run out of stock when stock is available.
  3. To ensure stores are not over stocked.
  4. To ensure stock is replenished timeously.
Internal Branch Transfers of Stock (IBTS)
  1. To rectify uneven distribution of stock.
  2. To ensure optimal sales by ensuring stock in the correct stores.
  3. To ensure cost constraints are adhered to.
Markdowns
  1. Identify stock that needs to be marked down / promoted / repriced.
  2. Markdowns to be communicated to the relevant stores.
