Role Responsibilities

• Drive the development of strategies to use digital engineering, e.g., to reduce the time and cost of project delivery, improve quality of deliverables, and create standardised digital workflows.
• Ensure active promotion and use of our latest digital solutions such as Revit, Bluebeam Studio, PowerBI, scripting for repetitive and generative designs, and BIM interoperability.
• Deliver confident and quality digital value additions to our clients.
• Coordinate and drive the digital development of our team members to ensure the team remains at the forefront of technical development.
• Partner with our clients' digital delivery teams to stay updated with and influence their digital offerings.
• Experience in modelling mechanical, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and fire systems in Revit.
• Lead a team of younger modelers on hospital projects, guiding and teaching them.
• Develop and adhere to BIM execution plans, support, maintain, and extend existing Revit and AutoCAD add-ins.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric or equivalent; a National Diploma would be beneficial.
• At least 3 years of healthcare draughting experience as an MEPF digital modeller; senior digital MEPF modeller candidates will also be considered.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential; advanced coding skills such as Dynamo, Sprinkcalc, and PyRevit are desirable.
• Experience in delivering healthcare projects within the South African commercial built environment, with a proactive approach to solutions that enhance accuracy, quality, and data richness.
• Innovative mindset capable of leveraging technological advancements.
• Ability to use initiative to resolve tasks or problems at a senior level.
• A passion for developing a team into digital delivery experts.
