The Recruitment Council is seeking an ambitious Associate Financial Advisor in Durban to join their investment-led financial planning practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of financial services experience and a Matric certificate, with ongoing or completed industry certifications. This role involves supporting senior advisors in financial planning, client management, and compliance tasks while working full-time in a collaborative office environment. Mentorship is provided to help candidates grow into senior roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience at a CAT I FSP in financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment solutions, FAIS and FICA legislation.
• High competence in Microsoft Office and reputable CRM systems.

Responsabilités

• Research advice-related matters and draft Records of Advice (RoA).
• Assist in preparing comprehensive financial plans and investment strategies.
• Manage the client review process and assist in client meetings.
• Assist with compliance duties and stay updated on market trends.
• Check the accuracy of policy schedules and reports.
• Help set up advice and administration processes.
