Job description

One of our top clients in the beauty industry, specializing in nail education, is seeking a mentor/educator.

Qualifications in Complete Nail Technology include:

• Basic manicure and pedicure
• Gel overlays, tips, and sculpting
• Liquid & powder acrylic overlays, tips, and sculpting

Hard Skills:

• Qualified in complete Nail Technology
• Nail art skills
• At least 3 years industry experience
• Advanced nail application skills
• At least 1 year training/educating experience
• Assessors or moderators are a plus
• Strong computer skills: Virtual Academic Centre & Dashboard, One Drive, Outlook, Excel, Word

Soft Skills:

• Passionate about education and nails
• Well presented, punctual, with clear English communication
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, admin, and multitasking skills
• Good time management and team player
• Bi-monthly travel required (costs covered)
• Participation in demo days and internal training
• Working hours: 8 am – 5 pm at Academy Rondebosch, with occasional weekend training
• Follow strict SOPs with ongoing training provided
• No additional work in salons permitted during work hours

• Residency in areas like Athlone, Ottery, Observatory, Plumstead, Camps Bay, Sea Point, Green Point, Constantia, Kenilworth, Blouberg, Century City, Goodwood, or surrounding areas
