Job Opportunity: Membership Sales Consultant (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Pretoria

Salary Details: R7 500 per month plus commission (R800 per new member). Commission earning potential of R15 000 to R45 000 per month.

Our client, a leader in developing sound tax policy and shaping fiscal legislation through parliamentary dialogue, is seeking a Membership Sales Consultant to join their team. The role involves increasing company revenue by achieving membership sales targets.

Responsibilities

1. Contact potential or existing members to inform them about products or services, answer questions, and close sales. Mostly inbound sales; no cold calling list provided.
2. Achieve sales targets by actively engaging with members and converting inquiries into memberships.
3. Maintain accurate notes on member profiles immediately after calls.
4. Resolve telephonic and email queries promptly, escalating when necessary.
5. Provide timely feedback and follow-up with customers.
6. Activate new members by calling within 24 hours, sending welcome emails, issuing practicing licenses, creating SARS profiles, and distributing membership certificates within specified timeframes.
7. Manage administrative tasks such as updating dashboards and handling membership status changes within set deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and working knowledge of GSuite
• At least 3 years of internal sales experience in a call centre environment
• At least 1 year of service sales experience
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills in English
• Ability to meet sales targets and handle customer inquiries effectively
