Key responsibilities
  • Draft letters in respect of Medical Underwriting
  • Handle member queries
  • Finalizing of Medical Decisions for Group Risk schemes
  • Liaising with intermediaries, clients and front offices where necessary
  • Prepare medical documents for the underwriters and doctors
  • Handling problems and complex enquiries regarding Risk products in the designated sphere of responsibility
  • Provide professional support to both internal and external clients with regards to the Group RiskMedical Underwriting process.
Qualifications and experience
  • Matric/Grade 12
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability
  • At least 2-3 years' experience within a Group Risk environment essential
Knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of the Group Risk Industry
  • Good communication skills — both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
