Introduction: An opportunity has become available for a Medical Technologist: Cytogenetics.

The incumbent will perform the overall operations in the Cytogenetics Laboratory in relation to routine and specialized technical functions, quality, and administration.

Minimum Requirements

1. HPCSA Registered Medical Technologist Cytogenetics OR HPCSA Medical Scientist
2. 2 years experience in Human Cytogenetics
3. Understanding of Blood Transfusion Standards
4. Understanding of HPCSA regulations
5. Understanding of SANAS regulations and audit process
6. Experience with SAP and Meditech

Special Circumstances

1. Out of hours transport necessary
2. Overtime as and when required
3. National Travel if required
4. Proficient eyesight and reasonable mobility
