Placements24 seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison to represent its cardiovascular product line across Randburg and the greater Gauteng region. This field-based role requires deep scientific knowledge, exceptional communication, and the ability to engage key opinion leaders.

You will disseminate clinical data, support investigator-initiated studies, and provide insights to inform strategic decisions. A MD/PharmD/Ph.D.

Competenze

• Advanced scientific degree in a medical or life sciences discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in a medical affairs role (MSL/Medical Advisor) or similar.
• Deep knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, treatments and guidelines.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to represent their innovative cardiovascular product line within the Randburg and surrounding Gauteng regions. This field-based role requires scientific expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the cardiovascular field. You will serve as a crucial scientific resource, disseminating complex clinical data, facilitating research collaborations, and providing valuable insights to support the strategic objectives of the company. This position is key to advancing medical understanding and application of cardiovascular treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key medical experts, researchers, and healthcare professionals in the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
• Deliver scientific and clinical presentations on company products and relevant disease states to healthcare professionals and internal teams.
• Gather and communicate insights from KOLs regarding unmet medical needs, clinical practice patterns, and research opportunities.
• Support clinical trial activities, including investigator-initiated studies and site identification, as required.
• Provide scientific and medical education to internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, clinical developments, and competitive landscape in the cardiovascular field.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, Ph.D.) in a relevant medical or life science discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical affairs role, such as Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor, or similar.
• Deep scientific understanding of cardiovascular diseases, treatments, and current clinical guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively around Randburg and the greater Gauteng area.
