Medical Sales Specialist (Devices) – Diep River, Cape Town.

A leading supplier of orthotic and prosthetic products in Southern Africa is looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join their Western Cape team.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving quality of life through innovative healthcare solutions and keen to make a meaningful impact in the medical industry.

The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience in healthcare, or medical devices.

Salary: R31 500 Basic Salary, plus commission, fuel and cell phone allowance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales (preferably in healthcare or medical devices).
  • Strong existing network in the orthopaedic, hospital, or pharmaceutical sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
  • Passion for helping others and enhancing patient care.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving growth targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify and develop relationships with healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals, and other potential clients to drive sales growth
  • Product Education: Provide expert knowledge and demonstrations of orthotic and prosthetic solutions
  • Customer Support: Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving queries and ensuring satisfaction
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to support business goals and optimize operations
