Medical Sales Rep (Permanent) West Rand Gauteng

POSITION : Permanent

COMMENCEMENT : ASAP

PURPOSE OF POSITION :

To achieve maximum sales profitability growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and / or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and / or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts / customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

  • Registered Nurse Anaesthetic or ICU experience and trained
  • 3 Years working experience in ICU or Anaesthetic
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) fluent in English.
  • Code 08 drivers license

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS :

  • Promote / sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing / potential customers
  • Assisting customers in selecting products and services best suited to their needs
  • Travel to defined geographies in Free State
  • Analyze the territory / markets potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers
  • Identify advantages and compare the organization’s products / services
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy
  • Supply reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services
  • Establish develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Prearranged or cold calling in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Keep abreast of product applications market conditions competitive activities advertising and promotional trends
  • Preparing and presenting training material
  • Managing allocated expense budget
  • Keeping detailed records of contacts and details on database
