As a receptionist, you will provide quality customer service aligned with the overall business strategy and fulfil administrative and assistant functions. Intercare Waterstone Medical and Dental Centre, situated in Somerset West, seeks to recruit a Medical Receptionist. The focus of this position is to provide professional customer service by assisting the medical health professionals with administrative support.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS
  1. Coordinate and schedule doctors' training and meetings with pharmaceutical companies.
  2. Schedule standard and referral appointments for patients according to established procedures.
  3. Direct all customers to the appropriate location, services, and professional.
  4. Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.
  5. Refer all emergency cases to the nurse station without delay.
  6. Coordinate and manage patient flow in the medical waiting area.
  7. Monitor the use of supplies and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
  1. Minimum requirement: Grade 12
  2. Previous experience in a medical practice environment is essential.
  3. Computer proficiency (MS Office)
  4. Working knowledge of the GoodX system will be advantageous.
