Medical Receptionist, Ophthalmology Practice, Alberton
Our client, a Specialist Ophthalmologist based in Alberton, is seeking to recruit a mature and experienced medical receptionist.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receiving all patients, walk-ins and service providers
- Switchboard duties (Day/Night switch, incoming and outgoing calls)
- Appointment diary bookings and management confirming all appointments and cancellations
- Managing on-call list
- Administration and filing duties
- Medical aid liaison
- Checking consent forms are signed
- Typing of medical letters
- Stock taking
- Ensuring referral letters are received and filed
Qualification and Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar medical receptionist position
- Experience in an ophthalmology practice will be advantageous
- Experience with Elixir Live and/or GoodX is preferred
