About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly articulate and scientifically informed Medical Information Specialist to join their dedicated team in Polokwane . This role is integral to providing accurate, timely, and scientifically sound responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, consumers, and internal stakeholders regarding the company's pharmaceutical products. You will manage the medical information service, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to the development of medical information resources. This position is key to maintaining our client's reputation for scientific excellence and robust product support within the Limpopo province .

Key Responsibilities

• Respond accurately and efficiently to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals and consumers via various channels (phone, email, web).
• Document all medical information inquiries and responses in the designated medical information database system.
• Collaborate with internal medical, legal, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure the accuracy and compliance of all provided information.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of medical information materials, such as FAQs, core dossiers, and product monographs.
• Stay current with product information, relevant medical literature, and regulatory guidelines pertaining to medical information services.
• Escalate adverse event reports or product quality complaints to the appropriate internal departments in a timely manner.
