Join our team at SD Recruitment (Pty) Ltd, where you'll take charge of managing our client facilities, ensuring seamless operations by placing qualified locum medical staff when needed. With our 24/7 service, as a Medical Consultant, you'll play a vital role in guaranteeing that as a business we are able to deliver round-the-clock coverage for urgent matters, ensuring our clients receive the highest standard of care.

Key Outputs

  1. Assist in recruiting locum staff
  2. Schedule staff placements at client facilities
  3. Record bookings accurately on client platforms and internal CRM
  4. Ensure booked staff attend as scheduled
  5. Manage post-booking changes and gather staff feedback
  6. Confirm staff competence and compliance
  7. Coordinate additional training for staff if needed
  8. Regularly contact client facilities for their staffing needs
  9. Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure quality services
  10. Handle incidents and complaints
  11. Stay updated on operational changes
  12. Generate leads for new business
  13. Support training and guidance for personnel
  14. Consult with Clinical Facilitators to stay informed about industry standards
  15. Document interactions on the CRM system
  16. Report any errors or issues
  17. Submit staff details to Payroll promptly
  18. Address staff payroll queries
  19. Facilitate communication between staff and internal departments
  20. Manage resources for optimal efficiency
  21. Maintain confidentiality
  22. Perform ad hoc duties as required
  23. Responsible for business growth by expanding current client base
  24. Prospecting and lead generation for new business
  25. Managing accounts by engaging and servicing existing client portfolios
  26. Building relationships by understanding the client needs
  27. Responsible for scheduling staff shifts to optimise staffing levels
  28. Accurate data recording and capturing

Required Skills

  1. Matric
  2. 2 - 3 years’ experience in staff placement / person-to-person sales (nursing or similar industry preferred)
  3. Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  4. Meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in multiple software packages and systems
  5. Strong interpersonal communication skills
  6. Organisation and administration
  7. Problem solving and decision-making
  8. Competitor awareness
  9. Sales/Target driven

Additional Requirements

  1. Bilingual in English and Afrikaans / isiXhosa
  2. Open to working in a target driven environment
  3. Valid Driver's License and own reliable vehicle
