Medical Resources is recruiting on behalf of a Pretoria-based client for a Medical Billing/Debtor Clerk. The role focuses on accurate medical billing, denials follow-up, and compliant claims processing.

The successful candidate will have ICD-10 experience, knowledge of insurance billing including OT & Hearing Aids, and strong organizational and communication skills. This on-site position offers market-related remuneration depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Medical Billing/Debtor positions.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding.
• Experience handling insurance claims, including OT & Hearing Aids billing.
• Skilled in managing denials and effectively resolving billing issues.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Prior experience in medical billing or a related field is essential.
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Minimum: High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Advantageous: Additional certifications in medical billing or coding.
