Job description

Job Title : Media Coordinator (Admin + Negotiation Hybrid)

Location : Hybrid – Work from home, 1 day in Sandton office per week

Department : Sales

Reports To : Sales Manager

Compensation : Base salary subject to experience + commission (up to R, per quarter)

About the Role

We're looking for a Media Coordinator to join Green Media — someone who thrives on admin but isn't afraid to speak up and negotiate a better deal. You'll be the link between our sales team, media owners, and brand partners.

Your role will include managing trackers, collecting campaign proof, sending out creative material, following up with partners, and helping the team secure free / bonus media where possible. This isn't a sales role — but it is a media-facing role that includes negotiation.

You'll chase deadlines, organise chaos, and help make sure every campaign goes live perfectly and on time.

What You'll Do
  • Admin & Coordination: Track all media bookings, update campaign trackers, gather creative assets, follow up on Proof of Flighting (PoF), build client reports, format media decks and proposals, keep internal folders tidy, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Media Support & Light Negotiation: Support the team in securing up to R24 million in quarterly media value through admin coordination and negotiation, liaise with media owners for free placements and added value, help package rates, finalize deals, and build relationships with key suppliers and media partners.

Requirements
  • 2+ years in an admin, coordination, or support role (media or advertising experience is a bonus)
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Media or agency experience helpful but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Bonus Potential

You could earn up to R in commission per quarter, based on the media value you help secure through negotiation. Green Media's quarterly media target is R48 million. You might support or secure up to R24 million of this through your work, and your impact is rewarded.
