Jhpiego Inc., a leader in health system strengthening, is seeking an eLearning Media Consultant for the RISE project. The successful candidate will develop online courses focused on disease surveillance and healthcare worker training, requiring strong e-learning development skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. Join us in contributing to effective health systems in South Africa!
The Reaching Impact, Saturation, and Epidemic Control (RISE) project is a multi-year global project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) working with countries to achieve a shared vision of attaining and maintaining epidemic control, with stronger local partners capable of managing and achieving results through sustainable, self-reliant, and resilient health systems. RISE will support the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) in improving the quality of the disease surveillance in South Africa. Furthermore, RISE will support the NICD to enhance resources for healthcare workers’ outbreak responses by developing online refresher training on Indicator Based Surveillance (IBS) that strengthens the detection of priority diseases/threats, monitoring threats, analysis, and reporting. To implement these activities, RISE is engaging an eLearning Media Consultant for Surveillance Course Development to work with its partners in South Africa.
