Our client is looking for 2 Mechatronics Engineers to join their team in Paarl, Cape Town.

Position Info:

• Position: Mechatronics Engineer x2
• Salary: Market related

Qualifications:

• ONLY BSc / BEng in Mechatronic Engineering

Experience:

• 1 – 5 years of relevant work experience, with preference given to experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of thermodynamics
• Experience in electrical design to fully operational systems, including PLCs and Servo drives, in sophisticated machinery
• Willing to travel extensively both locally and internationally

Preferred Exposure:

• Siemens / Allen Bradley PLCs and software

Responsibilities:

• Electrical and electro-mechanical design
• Design of control systems (PLC programming)
• Producing drawings for manufacturing
• Supervision of implementation
• Installation and commissioning at customer sites
