The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with expertise in CAD/CAE tools and mechatronics.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design with integrated systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and CAE/FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of mechatronics, robotics, or automation systems.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design advanced mechanical systems and subsystems for automation and control applications.
• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks).
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations (e.g., FEA, kinematic analysis) to verify design performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure system integration.
• Select appropriate materials and components based on performance requirements, cost, and manufacturability.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing of mechanical systems, documenting results and making necessary design adjustments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the design, manufacturing, and implementation phases.
• Write technical specifications and documentation for system designs and component procurement.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends in mechanical engineering and automation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
