Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Project Engineer to lead and execute mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion in Soweto, on-site. You will oversee planning, budgeting, resource allocation and ensure milestones are met with high quality within a collaborative team.

You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors and suppliers, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with robust engineering outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within a mechanical engineering context.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
