Responsibilities:

• Understand mechanical engineering requirements for each project.
• Review elementary system drawings and conveyor manifests.
• Estimate engineering hours and understand project contract requirements and options.
• Provide technical interface with customer project representatives.
• Define project scope and manage contract change orders.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and standards.
• Review 3D models and develop/meaintain a mechanical engineering schedule.
• Manage project contracts within budget and hours estimates.
• Support vendors, installation personnel, and subcontractors with technical inquiries.
• Participate in weekly project meetings and delegate tasks to engineering team members.
• Ensure project-specific requirements are met, interpret and communicate customer specifications.
• Release drawings for installation and fabrication, create material purchase requests.
• Update scope changes, communicate project status, and identify areas for improvement.
• Review drawings for accuracy and support engineering analysis as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a schedule-driven environment.
• Understand and apply customer specifications effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, BIM, and Microsoft Project is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience with material handling equipment, preferably conveyor systems.
• Experience supporting medium to large projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and design.

Travel Requirements:

International travel approximately 15%, depending on project needs.
