Job description

The Senior MSL is a credible and valued representative of the company in the field, interacting with key stakeholders across regions, products, and therapeutic areas (TAs) to establish and maintain scientific relationships with opinion leaders and healthcare professionals. This is achieved through a scientific approach aligned with the Brand Team objectives and the therapeutic area Medical Plan.

Responsibilities (AOR)
  1. Spend up to 60% of time in field-based, customer-facing activities engaging in two-way scientific dialogues with key opinion leaders and experts.
  2. Remain office-based to contribute to the medical strategy for oncology, sharing scientific data and discussing clinical unmet needs, treatment landscapes, and pipeline molecules.
  3. Engage with clinical oncologists, share data from clinical trials, and stay abreast of developments in the therapeutic area.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to build long-term scientific engagement plans, coordinate publications, and establish scientific advisory boards.
  5. Prepare and deliver scientific presentations, manage product-specific programs like EAPs, and disseminate medical education to external audiences.
  6. Develop customer insights, identify barriers, and create communication plans based on field insights.
  7. Support clinical development initiatives, including study preparations, publications, and congress abstracts.
  8. Adhere to ethical standards, complete onboarding, and maintain training compliance.
  9. Synthesize complex data to communicate clinical insights and propose BU-wide transformation initiatives.
  10. Identify data gaps, propose post-marketing studies, and support clinical trials and site activities.
Qualifications
  • PhD or Master’s in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or Medical Sciences.
  • 3-5 years in a medical affairs role within pharma, with oncology experience and a history of launching innovative assets.
  • Strong communication, medical writing, and presentation skills.
