Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics and rotating equipment.
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules.
• Good physical condition for demanding industrial environments.
• Trade qualification or certification in mechanical engineering or maintenance is advantageous.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their industrial operations team in Upington, Northern Cape . This role is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of various mechanical systems and equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on machinery, including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and other industrial components. Key Responsibilities
