Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment according to schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in production machinery including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals to perform repairs.

About the Role

This role is vital for ensuring the reliable operation of all mechanical equipment and machinery within the Manufacturing & Production facility. You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment failures, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment according to schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in production machinery, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings , blueprints, and equipment manuals to perform effective repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately in the maintenance logs and CMMS.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
