Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Section 13 Trade Test or Section 26D as a qualified fitter.
• 5 years’ traceable experience as a qualified mechanical artisan in earthmoving or TMM.
• 5 years’ traceable supervisor experience as Foreman in underground mining.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license.
• Medically fit.
• Computer literacy.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate / equivalent
• Section 13 Trade Test or section 26D as a qualified fitter.
• 5 years’ traceable experience as a qualified mechanical related artisan on Earthmoving or TMM equipment
• 5 years’ traceable supervisor experience as appointed Foreman in Mining underground
• Must have competent B.
• Computer literate
• Valid Driver’s license – Code 8
• Medically fit

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Heavy Earthmoving and general maintenance management experience withing underground TMM or an open pit environment.
• Management experience to enable the team to perform to their full potential.
• Have a good understanding regarding LCM (Life cycle management) philosophy and how to implement it accordingly.
• Be able to implement and sustain initiative-taking condition base monitoring processes / system that form part of the KPI.
• Be able to implement set Engineering related systems and procedures without any compromises.
• Excellent in fault finding skills.
