Mechanical Foreman

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Foreman for Mine in Brits area. It will be on Surface and Underground at the Vertical Shaft.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL:
- Grade 12.
- N3 – (Mechanical or Industrial).
- Fitter Trade Test.
- Foreman Certificate will be advantageous.
- Winder experience will be advantageous.
- 5 Years and above as Mechanical Foreman.
- 3 Years shaft experience.
- Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket).

Main responsibilities will include:

• Meet production targets, reduce costs & manage performance of direct production staff.
• Process monitoring, control, optimization and manage process recipe.
• Effective supervision of subordinates (Attendance & Wellness).
• Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and ensure compliance.
• Will hold 2.9.2 appointment.
• Ensure adherence to mechanical standards and procedures.
• Coordinate and monitor equipment availability and ensure continuous effective communication with relevant stakeholders to minimize production delays.
• Identify key performance shortfalls, gaps, and critical improvement areas.
• Coordinate training and development of team members.
