Mechanical Engineer

My client in the manufacturing industry based in Boksburg is looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

The ideal candidate should come from a rubber manufacturing or similar industry.

Responsibilities & Duties

1. Manage the engineering team
2. Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods in sections such as Calendaring, Belt Building, Vulcanizing Press, Final Finish, and Utilities
3. Implement cost-saving projects
4. Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown diagnostics
5. Improve health and safety standards
6. Prepare MIS reports daily, weekly, and monthly
