JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a thorough understanding of mechanical projects within the built environment, capable of developing unique solutions and managing client needs throughout all design phases.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with HVAC design projects, conduct client needs analysis, site assessments, and compile reports.
• Produce heat load calculations, propose system concepts, and select appropriate systems based on client requirements.
• Design according to standards, consult suppliers, perform ducting and hydraulic calculations.
• Assist with fire protection and wet services projects, produce drawings, and compile reports and tender documentation.
• Peer review of reports and drawings, monitor construction, and provide mechanical design for projects.
• Communicate effectively, utilize cloud services, attend meetings, and manage project and team administrative duties.
• Work directly with clients and other professionals, coordinate work, and ensure timely delivery within budget.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering.

SKILLS

• Valid Code B driver’s license.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD/Revit.
